This small TypeScript app runs WebSocket and Server-Sent Events against the same server and animates each network event. A shared model stream fans out to both lanes, so the difference is visible instead of abstract.
The demo also drops active connections: SSE reconnects through EventSource, while WebSocket needs an application-level reconnect. The repository includes a short recording and instructions for running it locally.
